This wooden shed splits its interior in two: three shelves down one side for pots, gloves, twine and bottles, and a full-height open bay on the other for spades, rakes, a strimmer or a folded chair. That mix handles the awkward reality of garden storage, where half your things are small and the other half are two metres long.
It is built from thick fir wood with a water-resistant top coat, and the roof tilts and is covered in asphalt so rain runs off rather than sitting on top and working its way in. Two small windows in the doors let in enough light to see what you are reaching for.
