Two full storeys give this cat house room for two cats to settle without sitting on top of one another, which matters if you are feeding more than one garden cat. Jumping steps lead up the outside, and a hole in the upper floor connects the two levels inside.
There are several ways in and out, including a side door and a separate escape door, which is what makes a nervous or semi-feral cat willing to use a shelter at all: they will not enter a box with only one exit. The roof lifts open for cleaning and keeps the inside ventilated.
