This lamp doubles as a slim shelving unit, which makes it useful in the corner of a living room or beside a bed where there is no space for both a side table and a standard lamp. The light sits on top and throws a soft glow upward, while three shelves below hold books, a plant or a speaker.

The footprint is only 26cm square, so it tucks into a corner that would otherwise stay empty. The MDF carcass has a melamine top layer that wipes clean, and each shelf takes up to 5kg.
