Four tiers plus two rotating wings give this airer enough hanging space for a full load, which is the difference between drying a wash in one go and doing it in halves over two days. The wings swing out for sheets and towels and fold back in when you only have a small load.

Everything collapses: the shelves fold down, the arms rotate in and the legs fold inwards, so it slims to 13cm deep and slides beside a wardrobe or behind a door. Six wheels, two of them braked, mean you can push it to a warmer room without unloading it.
